Senior Sales Analytics Manager

Responsible for Future State Expectations – Deliver strategic insight through analytics to drive growth and a comprehensive understanding of CBC business

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains architecture to drive weekly understand of business movement (Nielsen based reporting)
  • Consults with Regional Business Managers, Account Managers and National Account Managers to ensure on-going analytical needs are being supported
  • Person would assist in the build of analytical support slides for customer presentations
  • Ad hoc request development, completion and share out in timely manner
  • Responsible for plan allocation analysis,
    • Subsequently, responsible for tracking/scorecarding performance to plan and providing recommendations on where to close gaps (based on analytical reviews of customer/category)
    • Leads quarterly Food West business update that is shared to key stakeholders
    • Develop and deliver standardized scorecard reports for Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and initiatives
    • Coordinates/rolls up Food West reporting for internal retail sales finance
    • Leads the markdown and return analytics to drive down liability exposure
    • Manager of the Sales Analyst & Sales Development Program - Phase II assignment manager
      • Expert on office data tools (needs to have capability to train Sales Analyst and Retail Sales Development participants)
      • Customer Business Center Pricing Manager, responsible for tracking the divisional and wholesale pricing activity so that sales teams can validate/suggest different options with accounts and HQ
      • Consolidate and report key customer performance metrics and outlook via third party resources / brokers
      • New item forecasting assistance for field sales force teams
      • Ability to flex and drive analytical support to category initiatives within CBC

        Requirements

        • Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Analytics or related field
        • 5+ years Analytics and leadership experience
        • 5+ years consumer product (CPG) analytics experience
        • Strong business acumen to understand and make recommendations based on data analytics
