The Selling Partner Support (SPS) team acts as the primary interface between Amazon and our selling partners. We obsess over providing world-class support to Merchants selling on the Amazon platform. We strive to predict our Selling Partner€™s needs before they recognize they may have a problem, create innovative self-help tools, and provide solutions to help our partners better serve their customers.

We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager, Ops Planning & Support to join our team. This role will build and lead productivity programs that drive associate headcount requirements and cost per contact (CPC) reduction initiatives across the SPS network. It will also be responsible to provide business intelligence and insights regarding network efficiency, operational planning, risks and opportunities, and support business review mechanisms such as WBRs and QBRs.

The Ops Planning & Support Sr. PM will partner with teams across Operations, Outsourcing, Finance, Capacity Planning, Network Optimization, Operational Excellence, Support Experience, Quality Programs, program and product owners, HR, etc. to design and develop strategic frameworks that enable insightful analysis of the business to key stakeholders across the entire Partner Support and Solutions organization (PSAS).

This role requires a very effective communicator with superior relationship building skills with a focus on customer obsession, program management experience, a passion for data management and process and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will need to understand the complexities of a high growth, fast-paced, high performing and cross-functional organization, handle multiple work streams and projects while dealing with constant change, and influence a wide-array of team members and stakeholders. The candidate will also have a strong desire to achieve results, continuously raise the bar, and effectively manage time, priorities and deliverables. The effective candidate will draw from previous work experience in program management, data analytics, capacity planning, working on a global scale, and corporate representation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • MBA/Masters or advanced degree in business, finance or data analytics preferred.
  • Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
  • Experience defining and executing against program requirements
  • Experience working with contact centers globally.
  • Demonstrated experience in a strategic role

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated people leadership and development success with large organizations.
  • Proven ability to conceive and deliver innovative solutions to support customers and business operations.
  • Proven experience in contact center capacity/demand planning metrics and inputs.
  • Strong communication, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
  • Able to work both on a global team and independently to deliver results.
  • Proven ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
  • Highly organized, ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance and tight deadlines.
