Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a global leader in Cloud Computing, is seeking a talented Senior Program Manager to drive impactful cross-functional initiatives and customer engagements. This individual would develop and own mechanisms across the Amazon Connect GTM team.

You must be comfortable working cross functionally, developing clarity from ambiguous data, and demonstrate bias for action. Being able to establish trust with a variety of stakeholders, improve processes, and find creative ways to remove blockers are paramount to success.

The ideal candidate will be fully competent in a variety of program management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle and exhibit demonstrated proficiency in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, resources, risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking.

The Program Manager plays an important role in identifying and prioritizing process improvement opportunities, prescribing strategies, and guiding the improvement effort. You will be responsible for leading and driving process improvements (short-term wins) as well as process design/ redesign (long-term wins) efforts.

This position requires a candidate with proven program ownership to facilitate and guide the application of programs and advanced technology to process improvements.

Change management experience is also necessary because you will be motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment where explosive growth is occurring while achieving impeccable quality.

Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we€™re building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded professional and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.

Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have twelve employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally. We have innovative benefit offerings, and we host annual and ongoing learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences. Amazon€™s culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 14 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.

Our team also puts a high value on work-life harmony. Striking a harmony between your personal and professional life is crucial to your happiness and success here, which is why we aren€™t focused on how many hours you spend at work or online. Instead, we€™re happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well-balanced life€”both in and outside of work.
