We are designing new digital multifunction apertures and system sensors to meet the current and future military platform needs, incorporating open architecture standards and using digital engineering methods for better, faster outcomes and increased reuse among the platforms. **Essential Functions:**

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related STEM degree with a minimum of 9 years of experience in related industry (9 years experience with a MS degree, 9 years experience with PhD
+ Understanding of the systems engineering development process and experience executing across the product lifecycle
+ Experience working and/or leading product teams to implement systems with open architectures such as Open Mission Systems (OMS), Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE), Weapon Open Systems Architecture (WOSA).
+ Experience supporting product teams to shape and implement systems with focus on shaping and implementing open architectures.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
+ Candidates must have an Active DoD Secret level security clearance with the willingness and ability to obtain special access and/or TS/SCI level security clearance

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Master's Degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related STEM degree

Salary Range: $119,800.00 - $179,600.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
