Engineering Analytics & Solutions (EAS) team is responsible for planning & development of Sort Center (SC) template and site layout to align with business requirements. EAS is seeking for Sr. Planning & Solns. Engineer to lead the development of sort centers sites. As a Sr. Engineer in EAS team, you will be responsible for:

· Leading a team for new SC evaluation, design strategy and engineering capacity planning
· Develop and maintain individual site business requirement from site selection to launch
· Working closely with WWDE, Ops Engineering and construction teams to develop site plans
· Effectively communicate (written and verbal) site business requirement and status with various teams
The ideal candidate is a demonstrated engineering leader who thinks big, has high bias for action and works cross functionally with a number of stakeholders. They should demonstrate ownership of the space and have an ability to understand operational and financial impact of site selection. They should be able to lead a team to develop business requirements and understand conceptual drawings, layouts, sort schematics, material handling plans, dock and yard plans, volume profiles, arrival profiles and operating strategies for sortation equipment and end-to-end processes.

Some travel may be required


· Bachelor€™s degree in Engineering (any discipline) or foreign equivalent, OR a related field.
· 5+ years of experience in the job offered or related occupation of Manufacturing/ Process/ Industrial Engineering, construction, or related.
· Experience in managing development of complex sites for automation in logistics or manufacturing, or experience with product development in automotive, aerospace, automation equipment, or similar.
· Familiarity with various 2D/3D modeling tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent)


· MBA or Master€™s Degree or other advanced degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Process Engineering or related field preferred
· Entrepreneurial spirit, with track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments
· Hands-on experience delivering results from Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or equivalent methods into production operations
· Proficiency with concepts like system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making.
· Possesses excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.
· Experience with SQL a plus.
