The Alexa Privacy team is building products and mechanisms to earn and maintain customer trust globally. We are the team chartered to safeguard customers€™ expectations on trust and privacy across all Alexa experiences.

Key job responsibilities
You will own large cross functional programs that impact all of Alexa's product and engineering teams. As a Sr Manager, Alexa Privacy Policy on the Alexa Privacy team, you will lead the teams and own the processes and programs that support a Privacy by design culture at Alexa, by developing and building on a strong Privacy Policy Framework that enables Alexa builders to meet our high bar for trust and privacy with customers.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

€¢ Develop, manage and support the Alexa Policy team as you drive Alexa wide Privacy programs and help shape the overall privacy strategy for Alexa.

€¢ Drive program objectives €“ provide strong leadership and program management, define project plans, manage implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications for policy/program/process roll out and ongoing support for the Alexa team

€¢ Scale services and tools €“ design processes and procedures that scale with the business€™ growth in volume and complexity

€¢ Define key performance indicators €“ develop metrics and service level agreements for core programs and processes, and track delivery against program objectives


Basic Qualifications
€¢ Bachelor€™s degree or higher
€¢ Experience working directly with legal, product and engineering teams to deliver experiences for customer.
€¢ 10+ years in managing large scale, cross functional complex teams and programs
€¢ Demonstrated ability to lead at scale, drive technical strategy, and manage complex tradeoffs.
€¢ High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
€¢ Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior leaders, across functions including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
€¢ History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one€™s sleeves to get the job done
€¢ Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
€¢ Handles multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment


Experience with information security, privacy frameworks, and/or compliance requirements.
