We also offer a fun, challenging, and rewarding environment with the opportunity to work with some of the most talented people in our industry. **What You'll Do Here:** Cengage has an opening for a Senior Technology Solutions Partner to serve our GTS (Global Technology Solutions) liaison to our internal marketing and e-commerce teams and solutions that support and enable our business to improve how people learn! In this role, you will help to own, define and lead cross-functional efforts to analyze, identify, define, and deliver on business system & infrastructure needs that will enable and support the evolution of our Higher Education business. As the Senior TSP (Technology Solutions Partner), you will join a high impact, high transparency team whose mission is to continuously evolve the technology and tools our business rely on to do what they do best. **Essential Responsibilities/Duties:** + Know your internal customer's workflows, needs, value drivers, decision-making process, as well as gaining an understaning into unstated intent and goals. + Lead, prioritize and execute on program roadmap through detailed requirements and excellent cross functional communication with Engineering, Architecture, QA, TSPs, and other Technical Product Management team members + Actively own the technology risk, debt, and non-functional requirements as part of the business roadmap. + Understand the role and function of the systems we use, and how new/emerging technology can better enable/support drivers and goals. + Understand the market, our products, major course areas, our competitors, and the route to market. + Understand the business context mission, strategy, competitive differentiators, activations, sell through, sources of activations growth, business resources. + Understand the business technology roadmap and how the business operates (i.e. macro business processes). + Understand and own decisions that affect other Cengage partners and users; understand the overall process and their role in the idea to build process. + Identify key users who will drive or enable business growth. + Understand/articulate our strategy and how that translates to day-to-day operations and support of Higher Ed. + Make/enable decisions that move Higher Ed forward while understanding any associated business risks and implications for our other partners (Platform, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, HR, Engineering, Architects etc.). + Communicate vision, strategy, and business value (the "why") effectively to technical team & partners + Maintain an open, updated and prioritized backlog with clearly understandable set of user intent / value stories. + Demonstrate foundational understanding of our systems and architecture importantly how they impact our decision-making process. + Clearly balance the 'reusability/scale' considerations with decisions that deliver value for the specific priority discipline/program at hand. + Help improve cross-functionally at all levels. Push information and drive understanding of the strategy and the path of execution. + Make time personally and for the team to invest in planning the next build cycle during the current build cycle **Skills You Will Need Here:** + BA/BS degree + 5+ years or technology, digital marketing or e-commerce related experience. + Prior experience in a role or position responsible for product/program/project management in a technical environment supporting a Marketing organization + Able to demonstrate a strong customer service and solutions orientation. + Experience working at the intersection of Marketing and Technology + Digital Marketing experience (SEO, lead generation, ad campaign management, community platforms, etc.). + Experience working with Web CMS and e-commerce technology. + Familiarity with modern B2B and B2C Marketing approaches and concepts and the technology that support it (e.g., campaign attribution/return on investment, demand waterfall, marketing automation and dynamic profiling, persona-based marketing, account-based marketing) + Experience working with Marketing Analytics and Operations teams to identify processes and analytical approaches that unlock insights from data and technology + Ability to work on-site in our Boston office IND-TECH IND-Marketing \#LI-BG1 **Job Locations** _US-MA-Boston_ **Posted Date** _1 week ago_ _(1/9/2020 12:59 PM)_ **_Requisition ID_** _2019-7043_ **_Job Function_** _Digital Solutions (Technology)_ Cengage is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
