If so, you could be the right person for the Senior Manager role on the Prime Video Live Events team, leading the expansion of Live Sports Broadcasts in the US by bringing new sports leagues to Prime Video.

Key job responsibilities
As the Partner Operations Manager (POM) team lead, you will be responsible for building a team to manage strategic relationships with 3rd party live event content providers, and partnering with internal technical teams to onboard new and interesting content.

In this role, you will work with various stakeholders including global cross-functional teams and external partners. The successful candidate will need to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environment. Key activities include:
€¢ Be directly responsible for the building, developing, and leading a POM team for Live Events
€¢ Own partner performance metrics, holding partners accountable to Amazon delivery specifications and continuing to raise the bar on partner performance, building strategic partner relationships with partner executive teams, consistently leaving it better than you found it
€¢ Contribute to defining product value propositions, advantages, and limitations
€¢ Be engaged in product development with our product managers and our engineering teams, ensuring operator use cases are correctly represented
€¢ Driving operational efficiency by continually refining operational processes and influencing Product/engineering teams to enable automation

A day in the life
You will define and execute the programs to bring new sports leagues to Prime Video and launch live events for our customers in North America. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. A successful candidate will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

About the team
The team€™s mission is to deliver live content to Amazon customers. This involves interacting and onboarding sports media and metadata partners, managing workflows through the publishing process, and executing procedures to bring highly engaging sports content to Prime Video customers. In addition to continuously driving and improving execution of this mission, you will work closely with counterparts in product management, engineering, content acquisition, operations, and executive teams to ensure the teams and systems are supporting the broader growth of our business, launching new features, developing and growing business opportunities, and enhancing our customer experience.

This role can be based in most corporate locations with preference in Seattle WA, Arlington VA, Austin TX, NYC NY, Los Angeles CA, or be virtual.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

€¢ Bachelor€™s degree or higher
€¢ 3+ years experience building and leading teams to achieve bold short, medium, and long-term goals
€¢ Strong attention to detail, end-to-end ownership, and driving results
€¢ Strong verbal/written communication, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
€¢ Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
€¢ Experience coordinating complex program development cycles
€¢ Must be able to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing and competing priorities
€¢ Experience managing, analyzing, presenting, and communicating relevant results to senior management
€¢ Advanced skills and experience with Excel and Access, or similar database

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

€¢ Master€™s degree
€¢ Experience in the Digital Supply Chain, Account Manager or Relationship Manager with large global organizations, i.e. content distributors, Direct-to-Consumer streaming services, broadcasters, etc.
€¢ Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing/business counterparts to deliver online products/services
€¢ Ability to understand customers and their behavior in order to drive new feature development
€¢ Experience in Account Management, Partner Management, Supply Chain/Operational Management, or business development
€¢ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills
€¢ Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them (verbal/written) to the stakeholders and executives as required
€¢ Broad commercial awareness developed in a fast-moving environment
€¢ Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or imperfect data
