The MITG Global
Operations Group is searching for the right candidate to support Minimally
Invasive Therapies Group (MITG). We firmly believe that being part of this great

**A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Located in Mansfield,
MA and reporting to the Sr. Manager Cost Accounting MITG Operations, this
person will work closely with manufacturing facilities and the data management
teams for the SAP ERP systems to ensure proper standard costs are maintained in
these systems. In addition, the
candidate will assist in the monthly closing process with preparation of
reports and recording of journal entries.
Timely and accurate preparation of reports, strong analytical skills,
and proven communication and problem solving abilities are required.

Responsibilities may
include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Collect / review data
during annual Standard Cost setting process.

Process requests for
new / updated standard cost updates throughout the year.

Prepare standard cost
data for loading to the SAP ERP system and review of data to ensure accuracy.

Perform analysis of
Excess Obsolete Finished Goods and partner with Commercial Finance teams
to ensure proper reserves are maintained.

Assist with month end
closing process and journal entries.

Perform analysis of
monthly activity booked to Other Product Costs.

Analyze and reconcile
key balance sheet accounts and book journal entries as needed.

Develop / maintain
database of MITG Standard Costs.

Respond to special
requests from MITG FPA Reporting and Consolidations, Medtronic operations
leadership and other ad hoc requests.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting OR Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting

**Nice to Have**


Intermediate skills in Excel, Access, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint required

of cost accounting methodology

analytical skills, ability to manipulate and interpret data

with SAP ERP system

Experience with SQL and / or
Power BI

Demonstrated high standards of integrity and
data accuracy

Intelligence experience

Works well with and is comfortable around
higher management

Proven adaptability and responsiveness to
multiple changing business priorities
