**A Day in the Life**


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


Serve as the finance partner for the Precision Instruments
Focus Factory


Serve as the primary business partner to execute month-end
fiduciary responsibilities, including cost center reviews, journal entries,
expense analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting and variance
commentary, for all of PI product lines


Coordinate and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly
reports and forecasts for purchase price variance


Consolidate business partners inputs for financial
reviews (monthly quarterly reviews, annual plan, Strategic Plan, and ad
hoc reporting)


Proactively investigate and communicate cost savings and
operating variances in PPV, MUV, and Labor efficiency


Identify risks and opportunities to forecast and
plan. Apply quantitative and qualitative
skills and business experience to arrive at meaningful conclusions and
recommendations. Develop options and solutions when issues arise for both
finance and non-finance stakeholders.


Support the Precision Instruments Focus Factory in new
products launches; setting up costs from raw materials to finished goods


Be the subject matter expert in purchase price variances,
freight in expenses, costed BOMs, labor routers, and material usage variance


Other related duties may include but are not limited
to: Operational Excellence, special
projects, Sarbanes-Oxley, business development, etc.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


Bachelors Degree with 4+ years of work experience in Finance
and/or Accounting OR Advanced Degree with 2+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting


**Nice to Have**


Solid technical knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, Pivot tables)


Certified Public Accountant


Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting and internal control requirements


Previous experience with a global manufacturing company


Strong business and FPA modeling capabilities required


Demonstrated critical thinking, presentation and communication skills


Team orientation and ability to work cross functionally and across the matrix to build credibility and relationships


Adaptable, flexible, and personable to succeed in a dynamic, energetic and fast paced environment.


Solid technical knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP system) and Hyperion/HFM systems a plus
