As a Functional Implementation Leader, you are part of a cross functional deployment & run team with the responsibility to deploy the designed €œGlobal Template€ which will enable the HBT to move from current business processes and operating systems to common business processes, enabled by SAP. The role also includes supporting live sites through trouble shooting, training, enhancements and rapid deployments.

Specific Responsibilities:

    \r
  • Teaming and interfacing with the HBT IT and business teams as it pertains to all aspects of Logistics. This includes understanding the site business requirements and performing gap analysis, assisting with the redesign of processes, and testing to insure conversion success.
  • \r
  • Working with HBT Logistics leadership team regarding process changes, global enhancement or Rapid deployment requests and updates on global HBT activities.
  • \r
  • Completing key deliverables as assigned such as functional site discovery and scoping documentation, business test scenarios, and others as outlined in the deployment methodology
  • \r
  • Responsible for the knowledge transfer to local business users.
  • \r
  • Responsible for helping the business with inventory cost reduction initiatives, material handling cost reduction efforts, Warehouse storage space optimizations, improved customer delivery, and Just-in-Time distribution
  • \r
  • Warehouse Management (processing, tracking, reporting, check-in and put away processes)
  • \r
  • Stockroom Management
  • \r
  • Shipping / Receiving Management (includes scanner and label printing)
  • \r
  • Inventory Management
  • \r
  • Pick, Pack, Shipping of Materials
  • \r
  • Goods Receipt Process for Inbound Deliveries

  • Goods Issue Process for Outbound Deliveries

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Deployments & Transitions

\r
    \r
  • Work with functional teams to fully understand the global template for HBT Logistics in SAP and provide HBT input to the evolution of the global design template.
    €¢ Capture, assess and prioritize key business requirement gaps from all sites that are part of a deployment project.
    €¢ Drive best business process across HBT.
    €¢ Champion change management activities.
    €¢ Learn the Honeywell SAP system to the standard required and ensure that knowledge is effectively transferred to other users.
    €¢ Ensure that all users can operate new business process effectively with minimum impact to the business.
    €¢ Ensure Global Design Model consistency across all deployments.
    €¢ Manage relationship and communication with HBT Logistics leadership team.
    €¢ Work to resolve any complex issue being experienced by the business.

  • Help with trouble shooting and root cause analysis of day to day issues faced by the business.

  • Involvement in scoping and requirements gathering for Rapid Development and Enhancement requests.
  • \r
  • Assist the business with testing of solutions prior to implementation.
  • \r
  • Promote best practice process adoption where ever possible.
  • \r

Projects involving IT function

\r
    \r
  • Be IT Logistics representative for global projects requiring IT functional representation.
  • \r
  • Drive communication and collaboration between IT and other Logistics Business Functions to enable smooth transition, coordinating changes to process, outputs & data.
  • \r
  • Responsible for scoping, testing & implementation of the IT Logistics plan as part of the larger global project.
  • \r

Basic Qualifications:

\r
    \r
  • Bachelors degree
  • 5 + years of ERP implementation
  • \r
  • 5 + years experience with SAP
  • \r
  • 3 + years designing and building new processes
  • \r
  • 5+ years experience in Logistics
  • \r
\r
