Sr. Electro-Mechanical Technician

The Electro- Mechanical Technician will operate within our\rcustomer€™s facilities performing the maintenance function per the Intelligrated\rcontract. The Industrial Maintenance Technician is critical to the smooth\roperation of our customer€™s distribution centers and will be required to\rperform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of our customer€™s\rvarious material handling systems. The Technician will take the initiative to\rcoordinate with other departments the activities required for the safe and\rsatisfactory completion of any job tasks. The Customer Service Technician will\rrepresent Intelligrated on site and will also need to follow our customer€™s\rguidelines for general work practices outlined on site.

Assists other Technicians in the repair and\rmaintenance of equipment
Completes work orders, records, logs and other\rwritten or computer-based documents according to established procedures
Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems\rusing technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics)\rand diagnostic tools (e.g. multi-meter, laptop)
Operates material handling equipment, battery\requipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment; utilizes TCPiP as a\rtroubleshooting/setup tool
Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on\requipment (e.g., pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic\requipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, etc.) according\rto safety and quality procedures
Troubleshoots and repairs complex\relectrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, PC logic controls,\rProgrammable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output (I/O) devices\rwhere the repair is not immediately visible or obvious
Assists in the development of specific technical\rand training documentation; assists in the development of a Technical Support\rHelp Desk/Troubleshooting Guide
Provides resolutions to mechanical,\rtechnical/controls issues; documents all information relating to customer\rsupport issues in CMMS and Dashboard database; utilizes resources in other\rdepartments (when necessary) to expedite the resolution of conveyor related\rissues
Provides information to the Customer Service\rDepartment and other members of management to enhance Customer Service success
Follows up with customers and other departments\rto ensure issues have been resolved
Participates in cleaning the conveyor systems\rand part cage as appropriate
Maintains inventory of company supplied tools
Completes appropriate paperwork in a timely\rmanner
Adheres to all department and company standards,\roperating procedures and safety requirements while contributing to improvement
May be required to perform other duties as\rrequested, directed or assigned
Sr. Level Includes:
Serves as a Technical Trainer to the Customer\rService Technician
Takes the role of the CSS Site Supervisor on\rdays required
Analyzes and troubleshoots reoccurring issues\rand creates an ROI to support the change

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum five (5) years Mechanical troubleshooting and repair\rexperience
  • Minimum five (5) years Electrical troubleshooting and repair\rexperience
  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and\rOutlook)
  • Shift work may be required.
  • Ability to travel extensively

    • Material handling experience in Conveyor,\rsortation, palletizers, and robotics
    • Controls Troubleshooting experience
    • Networking Troubleshooting experience required for Sr. Level.
