The Sr. Electro-Mechanical Technician\rwill operate within our customer€™s facilities performing the maintenance\rfunction per the Intelligrated contract. The Electro-Mechanical Technician is\rcritical to the smooth operation of our customer€™s distribution centers and\rwill be required to perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance\rof our customer€™s various material handling systems. The Electro-Mechanical\rTechnician will take the initiative to coordinate with other departments the\ractivities required for the safe and satisfactory completion of any job tasks.\rThe Electro-Mechanical Technician will represent Intelligrated on site and will\ralso need to follow our customer€™s guidelines for general work practices\routlined on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists other Technicians in the repair and maintenance\r of equipment
Completes work orders, records, logs and other written\r or computer-based documents according to established procedures
Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using\r technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics)\r and diagnostic tools (e.g. multi-meter, laptop)
Operates material handling equipment, battery\r equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment; utilizes TCPiP\r as a troubleshooting/setup tool
Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on\r equipment (e.g., pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic\r equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, etc.)\r according to safety and quality procedures
Troubleshoots and repairs complex electrical/electronic\r problems with equipment, networks, PC logic controls,
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output (I/O)\r devices where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious
Assists in the development of specific technical and\r training documentation; assists in the development of a Technical Support\r Help Desk/Troubleshooting Guide

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent. Some experience in\r the field
  • Minimum four (4) years Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience\r    
  • Minimum four (4) years Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience\r    
  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Shift work may be required

    • Material handling experience in Conveyor, sortation,\r palletizers, and robotics
    • Controls Troubleshooting experience
    • Networking Troubleshooting experience
