The Senior Director, Supply Chain Transformation will play an integral role in helping the company achieve its ambition by developing and executing end to end supply chain optimization projects in partnership with the Strategic Business Unit (SBG) teams.  The Senior Director Supply Chain Transformation candidate should have a strong understanding of Integrated Supply Chain operations including but not limited to, plant operations, logistics, planning and procurement processes.  The candidate should also be experienced in plant optimizations, plant technology upgrades, relocations, greenfield, and brownfield start-up operations.  The selected candidate must have global supply chain experiences and understanding of complex manufacturing footprints.  

The successful candidate will partner with the SBG Integrated Supply Chain Leaders and their business Leadership Teams to develop compelling strategies that drive network simplification and improved operating efficiencies across a global system of internal operating sites, external suppliers and partnerships.  The candidate will create a clear vision of a future operating model that is aligned to our core strategies and business growth projections.   The future operating model should enable and drive advanced industry practices with regards to Digital Supply Chain connectivity, Industry 4.0 and advanced automation.   The Senior Director Supply Chain Transformation will also be responsible for the successful execution of the network transformation through a rigorous Management Operating System.   This includes process ownership that ensures repeatable, scalable, and reliable execution of complex and simultaneous global projects.

Autonomous and highly visible, this individual will be accountable for driving the results to meet target objectives.  Ideal candidates will bring prior experience in a well-regarded, global manufacturing and technology businesses of scale (strong preference for globally complex manufacturing footprints, software and high-tech industries). An energetic and experienced business partner, this individual will be hands on in fixing some of Honeywell€™s most difficult operational issues at select locations, while driving profitable growth and be passionate about building functional excellence and creating value for the enterprise. He or she will possess exceptional intellect, advanced technical fluency, business and finance acumen, and communication skills to help drive Honeywell€™s financial vision, guidance, and compliance in support of business growth and profitability.

The Ideal candidate will have:

·         Integrated Supply Chain Acumen. Direct experience from a large-scale segment ISC role in a multinational environment is essential. Ideally, this individual has experience working with complex global multi-national manufacturing footprints, software, a highly complex supply chain in a business that operates under multi-year long term plans. This individual must have hands on operations experience managing a world-class ISC infrastructure and enhancing the performance of the functional leaders in ISC. He or she will have a track record of success at cultivating meaningful relationships with the global ISC organization. M&A experience is desired.

·         Business Partner. A strong commercial orientation and a proven ability to partner with line managers and operating teams to drive and monitor performance and to develop strategic plans. He or she will be a strategic leader who can impact and change business-level strategy beyond the ISC area. Possesses change agility and mobilizes others in the organization to initiate change. Backbone and professional stature to influence senior executives with fact-based arguments and ideas that ensure optimal performance and results. A commitment to individual and/or team accountability for results. Experience helping lead an organization through change is preferred, including direct experience with supply chain transformation activities, M&A, operating initiatives and cost control programs that build growth and profitability. Ideal candidates will be capable of challenging senior and line management in a constructive, balanced way, offering solutions and fresh thinking.

·         Leadership/Executive Presence. Seasoned business judgment and a passion for increasing shareholder value and improving processes across the enterprise. A leader who empowers the team to perform independently and mobilizes others to initiate change. An intentional advisory style; experience and ability to interact with the top executive team. An exceptional manager and motivator of people and teams who can recruit and develop high potential people and set high standards for ISC personnel across the organization.

Immerses oneself through experiencing first hand, both internal (other functions, employees, operations) and external (customers, suppliers) constituents to understand their perspective.

·         Sets the Tone. Understands impacts of large scale ISC transformation and corresponding impact on business health and provides a realistic, but optimistic view. Possesses the self-awareness to monitor and adjust the signals sent to the organization (mood, demeanor, mannerisms, the way people are treated) to have a positive impact.


  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 8 + years of experience in a manufacturing industry

    • MBA or advanced degree is preferred

      ·         Experience working with complex global multi-national manufacturing footprints

      ·         Significant experience working with a complex supply chain system

      ·         Track record of developing sustainable performance cultures where team members are passionate about \twinning.
