The Forensic Science Applications Group (FSAG) within the Human Identification (HID) business provides comprehensive global internal and external customer support and aides in the delivery of innovative, real-world solutions. To strengthen HID capabilities, and build upon a OneTeam approach to customer support, the customer support specialist under FSAG would facilitate commercial/customer order resolution for non-Rapid products in North America and Rapid products globally. Having technical and non-technical support under one group enables alignment across the product lines and promotes continuous improvement, resulting in increased customer satisfaction.

How will you make an impact?

The Customer Support Specialist will be a part of the Forensic Science Applications Group (FSAG) tasked with supporting our internal and external customers for order placement, monitoring, fulfillment, and other administrative tasks pertaining to non-Rapid HID products in North America and HID Rapid products globally. This includes assisting with external email correspondence and answering customer calls for North America Technical Support.

What will you do?

HID Technical Support Duties
  • Support the FSAG team when needed by sorting and managing the HID Tech Support email box
  • Assist HID Tech Support with Siebel data entry/management
  • Assist with answering customer calls for the HID Tech Support phone line
  • Complete all North America non-Rapid and assist with global Rapid technical replacements
  • Assist with SKU lookup -expiration dates- availability –lot numbers -etc.
North America Commercial & Global Rapid Commercial Duties

How will you get there?

  • Minimum of 3 years working in customer care or customer support
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and CRM systems
  • Is customer-centric and keenly aware of commercial needs
  • Highly energetic, self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to drive business processes or change opportunities that lead to efficiency improvements or other benefits for the business.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Customer first attitude and approach
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and performs as a team player
  • Consistently demonstrate a professional, strong relationship with all client contacts
  • Can demonstrate a sense of urgency, optimism and “can do” attitude
  • Excellent written and communication skills


  • SSF or field-based/remote.
  • 10% or greater travel (domestic and international) is required on periodic basis.
