Sr. Associate, Cyber Risk Management

At Capital One, were looking for an enthusiastic Senior Associate (SA) to join Cyber Assurances Cyber Capabilities Maturity Program (CCMP). The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, highly organized, results-focused self-starter, and will have excellent written and verbal communications skills. The SA will have a passion for cybersecurity and developing relationships, as well as a desire to expand their cybersecurity knowledge. The individual will be primarily responsible for developing relationships with the Lines of Business (LOBs) to establish their role as CCMP ambassador to the LOBs. The SA will work with the LOBs during assessments and capability maturation activities to manage the collection of evidence and advise on criteria and process.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Executives and LOB partners to understand their capabilities, maturation road-maps, and facilitate next steps towards meeting assessment and tier maturation timelines
  • Review program change requests, to include capability maturation's, timeline changes, and Executive changes, for accuracy and completion
  • Excellent team-oriented interpersonal skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or military experience
  • At least three years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security
  • At least two years of experience evaluating cybersecurity capabilities utilizing the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with key stakeholders or internal business partners
  • 1+ year of experience working with FISMA, or COBIT, or ISO 27001
  • 1+ year of experience working in the financial sector
  • 1+ year of experience working in an Agile environment
  • 1+ year of experience using Jira and Confluence
  • 1+ year of experience using the Archer GRC tool
