Responsibilities:

  • Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex voice driven solutions within Honeywell.
  • You will use your industry and solution experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • You will also generate innovative solutions for work in traditional as well as new situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities
  •  Identify and propose technical improvements using your software engineering knowledge and principals.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science
    • Minimum 7 years experience developing and/or customizing advanced software solutions.
    • Experience in programming, database management, and cross-platform environments
    • Software integration experience

      WE VALUE

      • Working knowledge of web application development using Java based technologies such as Hibernate or similar object-relational mapping (ORM), Spring Framework, Struts2, FreeMarker, and JavaScript
      • Experience with maintenance, inspection, or meter reading software such as Maximo
      • Experience using the Eclipse IDE for development
      • Experience using source control systems (e.g. Perforce, Git, etc.)
      • Knowledge and understanding of multi-tier web applications
      • Working knowledge of Android, Python, C# - WFP / Xamarin
      • Experience maintaining and updating documentation, excellence in communication, writing and editing skills
      • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently as the situation warrants
      • Experience with warehousing or supply chain operations a plus
      • Experience with workflow management, maintenance and inspection workflows a plus
      • Experience developing and designing voice applications/interfaces
