KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice.


Responsibilities:


+ Support the Design Thinking and Ideation workshops in various environments to kick off engagements and enable collaborative brainstorming/ideation with client users and stakeholders

+ Support design research efforts. Conduct Human Centered Design (HCD) qualitative and quantitative user research via user interviews, focus groups, surveys, benchmarking analysis, etc to ensure solutions are rooted in real-world needs and deliver experience and functionality that inspires and drives

+ Translate user research, business requirements and contextual business information into a logical, solution-oriented strategic direction

+ Support the presentation of and speak to the value of the team's design solutions to client stakeholders through storytelling in a way that inspires confidence and drives approval

+ Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of Strategists, Designers, Developers, and Delivery Managers, as well as client and internal stakeholders


Qualifications:


+ A minimum one years of experience in user experience design, research, digital product/service design, or other forms of human centered design

+ Bachelors degree from accredited college or university

+ Client-facing consulting/agency experience (spanning consumer, enterprise or professional services)

+ Working knowledge of the current execution tools and methodologies such as Keynote, Microsoft Office Suite, Design Thinking, Human Centered Design, and Agile and DevOps

+ Working knowledge of tools such as personas, journey maps and any other additional communications methods to showcase strategic direction

+ Proficient storytelling skills (oral, written and visual) with the ability to inspire, educate, and persuade

+ Strategic project and design portfolio that demonstrates effective problem solving, qualitative and quantitative analysis and linkage to experience and/or business change and ROI with impeccable attention to detail

+ 100% remote opportunity available

+ U.S. citizenship required with an active U.S. Federal government Secret security clearance preferred
