UW Medicines recruitment team has an exceptional opportunity for a Sourcing Recruiter to join their dynamic team.

This role will plan, develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned job classes and/or areas with special emphasis on a well-qualified and diverse pool of candidates, timeliness, and cost effectiveness.  The primary role of the sourcer is to get qualified candidates to apply to open job positions.  Position is also responsible for creating recruiting strategies in the community, creating community contacts and acting as liaison with community organizations and UW Medicine for purposes of sourcing candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executes sourcing strategies to ensure a constant flow of high quality leads/candidates into key pipelines and requisitions for assigned service lines.
Performs advanced sourcing through various mediums including internal and external database mining, networking, associations, universities, community agencies, social media, referrals, Boolean search strings, online and traditional directories as well as other innovative sourcing methods. 
Conducts cold calls to passive candidates to present opportunities for critical, difficult and visible positions.
Works closely with recruiters and managers to understand staffing needs and develop a proactive, innovative sourcing/recruitment strategy to attract and recruit top talent. 
Continually evaluates sourcing strategies. Stays abreast of current and emerging technologies to proactively identify new venues for identifying qualified talent. Participates in media planning to renew media contracts. 
Gathers and prepares data to assess effectiveness of sourcing strategy. Analyzes and reports on sourcing metrics to TA Leadership on a scheduled basis.
Communicates status of searches recruiters and managers on a consistent and timely basis. 
Develops and maintains network and database of potential candidates for future consideration, including pipeline of passive candidates.
Acts as a key resource for referred candidates.
Other duties as assigned including special projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Skills, knowledge, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
Two to three years of recruiting or sourcing experience.

Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.

COMPETENCIES:

Ideal candidate will possess three years of sourcing experience in the healthcare field, working to source candidates for open positions in a dynamic and diverse environment.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to include proven negotiation skills.
A proven track record in proactively and creatively sourcing candidates in a high-volume environment utilizing multiple sourcing channels.
Ability to find passive candidates using various tools
Strong cold calling skills
Knowledge and experience related to the specific health care positions for which he or she is sourcing including relevant medical terminology and licensure/certification/educational standards
Working knowledge of technology, applicant tracking, statistics, workforce projections and analysis, and industry trends
Consistently reporting sourcing efforts to all stakeholders verbally, in writing and/or via presentation.
Shares sourcing knowledge and skills with colleagues, managers and administrators.
Facilitates collaboration with applicants, peers, managers, physicians and all other stakeholders, internally and externally.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
