This is a Core Java Developer (VP) role in Bangalore for the Equities Risk and PNL platform. The role offers working on a Cloud first strategy using Stream processing build atop Kafka middleware, System Integration with Rest API, Distributed core java services, UI technologies built using Thyme Leaf.This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:•10+ years professional development experience with Java •Core Java, Spring boot, Spring JPA, Kafka, JUnit•Basic SQL skills in any of the databases ( Oracle, Sybase , My SQL )•Understanding of OOP principles, Design patterns•Understanding of full SDLC , including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations •Experience communicating to business facing customers and technical teams •Ability to influence software engineering best practice •Self-starter who is motivated to take ownership to drive projects and tasks
