Honeywell Intelligrated is seeking to fill the role of a\rSorter Rebuild Specialist based out of our W. Chester, OH facility. This\rindividual will be responsible for rebuilding and servicing sortation conveyor\rsystems, most frequently over weekends, at customer facilities across North\rAmerica. We are looking for someone with leadership potential that can grow\rinto a working Site Lead. You will promote safety and efficiency while working\ragainst tight schedules to successfully teardown and rebuild sorting conveyor.\rYou will develop knowledge of how a sorting conveyor operates and its critical\rrole in warehousing automation and e-commerce. You will drive the\rknowledge-sharing mindset, methodology, and tools. You will develop Technical\rSupport processes. You will ensure proper documenting and recording of all\ractivity and communication.

Key Responsibilities
Research,\r read and analyze existing equipment documentation €“ includes layout\r drawings, plan views, and electrical schematics
Operation\r of industrial lifting equipment €“ crane, aerial work platforms (scissor\r lift), and forklift
Carry\r out mechanical modifications and parts replacement on industrial machinery
Assist\r with estimating scope of work and proposal content for a desired solution
Team\r collaboration to promote collective growth of team skills and knowledge
Facilitate\r and/or support safety and weekly team meetings
Coordinate\r with subcontractors, vendors, the implementation team and other subject\r matter experts
Ability\r to travel up to 90% of work hours over weekends (typical time off is\r mid-week)

YOU MUST HAVE
  • High\r School Diploma or GED
  • Proficiency\r with common metal fabrication tools (drills, saws, grinders); strong\r mechanical/millwright skillset
  • Ability\r to work long hours in a physically demanding role
  • Ability\r to work autonomously and have strong work ethic
  • Basic\r computer/technical skillset €“ Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook),\r ability to navigate through programs on a smartphone or tablet
