Honeywell is seeking a Solution Architect to run the service lifecycle of its Data Governance Platform - Collibra to support a key data initiative. The Architect will be responsible for deployment, service definition & rollout and finally the day to day management of the strategic Data Governance tool that will be critical to the Asset Management business€™s data needs. The ideal candidate will be a strong technologist, good technical leader, and architectural team player. Should have strong communication skills and should be able to communicate with business users. Experience working in agile development models is very important, and experience of working with distributed development teams is a distinct advantage

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment of Collibra Data Governance platform by managing the Honeywell instances

  • Manage platform access management including roles and responsibilities of users, types of users and their access levels to define data ownership, controls and workflows

  • Manage asset configuration and hierarchy as defined by the Data Governance Council / Implementation partner

  • Partner with Data Stewards for requirements, integrations and processes, participate in meetings and working sessions

  • Outline and apply software development best practices

  • Ensure the Service Delivery model is effective by defining and deploying the service offerings, SLA performance metrics and

  • Maintain RUN books for support operations and maintain the prescribed quality of service through SLAs

    Must Have

    • Bachelors degree

    • Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in the capacity of data governance and technical responsibilities

    • Minimum 1 year of experience with Collibra framework and configurations

    • Minimum 2 years of experience with RDBMS like Oracle, MS SQL, or MySQL

       

      We Value

       

      • Knowledge of Data management standards and data governance practices, Data Quality, Data Profiling, reference data management and business glossary

      • Should possess sound knowledge of User management, Metamodel configuration, License management, backup and restore, metrics and traceability groups and integrations

      • 2-3 years of experience with business workflows and administration

      • Prior hands-on experience with Groovy Scripts, Web Development XML, APIs (REST), JSON) and sound understanding of API

      • Strong experience with RDBMS like Oracle, MS SQL, or MySQL

      • Practical knowledge of BPM workflow engineering and BPMN 2.0 will be a huge plus
