This position applies a thorough knowledge of the needs of a business area and knowledge of software engineering principles to architect, model, design, and develop software applications for new products or product enhancements. The principal engineer develops code to meet requirements and specifications for variety of integrated enterprise applications. The principal engineer will work with other junior level engineers to perform testing, troubleshooting and debugging of application throughout the development process. The principal engineer will investigate emerging technologies, identify new product opportunities and establish parameters for product direction and design. \n

Qualifications:

    \n
  • This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 6-8 years of knowledge in the business area and 8 years of experience working with programming software design, application and database development, QA, documentation and rollout. \n
  • The position requires the ability to understand and interpret the client's business requirements, strong analytical capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. \n
  • This individual is expected to have a strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle, Technology Platform(s) and methodologies for software development. \n
  • Staff must have expertise in more than one software language such as .Net, C#, VB, HTML, JavaScript, Java, XML, and with at least 1 technology platforms such as Microsoft, Cerner, etc. \n
