Amazon Influencer Program (amazon.com/influencers) provides social media influencers on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram a storefront on Amazon with an exclusive vanity URL where they recommend products. Influencers are defined as social media users who leverage their credibility to influence their followers€™ behavior. Influencers can be enthusiasts, bloggers, experts, publishers or celebrities, and can be experts in anything from fashion to ocean fly fishing. Our team owns all the live features contributing to this program, including influencer storefronts, backend services and marketing promo codes. Storefronts give social media influencers a dedicated page on Amazon with an exclusive vanity URL where they recommend products. Influencers then promote their URL to refer traffic from social media.

As a SDET in the team, you will get to work in a start-up like environment and be responsible for defining the way we build and test our product. You will build and maintain a new test infrastructure and tools that enable the delivery of high-quality enterprise scale product working in collaboration with our Product team as well as PE and Sr. SDEs. If you are passionate about building and delivering great customer experiences and are looking to learn, this would be a great opportunity for you to consider. The successful candidate will be obsessed with quality improvement and automating tests for regression and new features. Responsibilities include understanding customer use cases, diving deep into the software development, and developing QA approaches to measure confidence in the product.

Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an SDET role
· Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills
· Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, services, and physical devices
· Ability to effectively articulate technical limitations and solutions
· Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
· Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
· Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team
· Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

€¢ Bachelor€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
€¢ 3+ years of working as a SDET/SDE
€¢ Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
€¢ 3+ years of experience building test automation frameworks and tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience taking a leading role in testing complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
• Practical experience developing test strategies for large scale web applications

• Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as Java, C, C++, or Perl
