This is a multi-level position based on the candidates qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience, and requirements for the position.



An inventive mind is needed to design, test and maintain the next generation of factory statistical analysis software tools. Youll deliver services and develop applications to enable enterprise collaboration through a shared understanding of factory data. Create and maintain data visualization and statistical analysis tools that increase understanding of factory data. Write scripts to convert non-standard test data (excel, access, text, etc) into a standardized text based format. Work with customers to ensure their data is used to reduce process variation and improve factory test yields. Become knowledgeable with factory test data, supporting Raytheon Missiles and Defense program needs as required in a fast-paced, multi-task work environment. Using SAFe agile software development methods, provide imaginative, thorough, and practicable solutions to a wide range of difficult technical problems.



Minimum Required Skills:

Bachelor degree in IT or a STEM degree and 4 + years of directly related experience or a directly related MS degree and 2 years of experience or in lieu of a degree 8 years of additional experience.

Experience with at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, Perl, C)

Experience database design and software architecture principles

Experience with database-driven web application development

Must be a US citizen, this position requires a DoD secret clearance



Highly Desired Skills:



Angular/React/jQuery or similar JavaScript-based framework

CompTIA Security+ certification

Strong understanding of MSSQL, MariaDB or ANSI standard SQL

Some exposure to statistical methods and tools (Minitab, R, JMP, SAS, etc.)

Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and statistical process control

Attention to detail

Ability to thrive in a small team collaborative environment

Independent self-starter able to develop solutions under only general direction

Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment

Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving ability for process & software issues

Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills

Experience with Python, Perl, SQL, JavaScript, statistics, test data
