Perspecta Labs is looking for an experienced software engineer with strong programming skills to help build and enhance systems implementing large-scale cyber operations. The successful candidate will have a track record of working effectively in teams, proactively identifying issues and independently solving problems. The candidate will have demonstrably good communication skills that facilitate collaboration on large systems development efforts. Projects within the lab will typically involve technologies such as machine learning, cyber security, virtualization, containerization, TCP/IP networking and operating system internals, thus experience with some or all of these would be a significant plus.

Main responsibilities include:

• Working with a team of scientists and engineers
• Independently solving problems in design and implementation of complex systems
• Designing and implementing software capabilities in C/C++
• Demonstrating implemented capabilities to customers

Primary work location is Basking Ridge, NJ. Candidates may alternatively take an office in Red Bank, NJ or Silver Spring, MD.

Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD.

• This position requires verification of US Citizenship.

• Candidates must have at least an active Secret security clearance.
• Strong written and spoken communications skills.
• C/C++ development experience on large systems
