Raytheon Intelligence, Information, and Services (IIS) is seeking an
experienced Software Release Management and Deployment Engineer, Software Configuration Management Engineer, or Software Engineer (SWE), to implement and oversee automated Software Configuration Management (SWCM) processes, support CM tool development and configuration, and execute/modernize the software product release and delivery process.
This position is with our team supporting the Air Operations Center Weapons System (AOC WS) Long Term Modernization and Sustainment Program (LTM&S) on Langley AFB VA.

This individual will report to the LTM&S Configuration Management Lead to implement and oversee the change management process for the software baseline to ensure the configurations are accurate and accounted for during all phases of integration, test, and deployment in support of over two dozen locations of the weapon system. A software engineering background is critical to understanding the requirements of a software integration toolchain.

Key responsibilities for the qualified candidate include:

Manage the software version control repositories.

Facilitate and support automation of the software baseline change management process.

Execute, automate, and manage release packaging and deployment processes.

Implement, improve and train program CM processes and interface with other engineering disciplines to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems.

Generate and maintain configuration status accounting reports.

Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to work on a team under pressure to meet strict schedule requirements with significant visibility to senior corporate leadership and government customers.

Develop scripts to support software delivery and deployments.

Communicate status to SWCM and program leadership.

Implement, improve, and train the program CM processes and interface with other engineering disciplines to provide solutions to a variety of technical problem.

This position requires work in a dynamic environment in which evolving program priorities dictate individual task priority. This position is part of a larger CM team and requires regular collaboration with team members.

The candidate must be comfortable communicating in both oral and written formats.

Required Skills:

US Citizen.
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Security+ Certification.

Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in:

Either software development, software configuration management, or a combination of both.

Administration of software version control, change management tools. Example tools include Jira, Bitbucket, GIT, etc.

Experienced with shell scripting in LINUX, Unix, or Windows. (i.e. Power Shell, Ansible, Ruby, or PERL).

Ability to work independently while able to support team goals and communicate program activities.

Desired Skills:

Software workflow administration and management.
Experience with Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory.

Required Education:

in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or other STEM degree and 2 years relevant experience.

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
