Job Description

The SB - Partner Account Manager will be responsible for driving reveneus for SMALL BUSINESS segment across the South and West. He/She will be responsible for growing the partner/distribution network and growing the under-tapped upcountry markets for the small business.

SMALL business segment caters to Small & Medium Business in India and represents largest opportunity for Cisco India. This role will enable unlocking this opportunity for Small Business by growing partner ecosystem and business through partners and distributors.

What You'll DO

  • Achieve revenue targets through Channel Partners
  • Bring Growth in Ciscos channel partner ecosystem in South and West focusing on both generic selling and distribution and also architecture specific value added partners
  • Work closely with the sales teams to understand the rhythm of the business and ensure timely fulfilment and delivery to end customer
  • Manage the team of Disti in your region and be responsible for their target achievement towards Small Business
  • Curate an ecosystem of partners with the best of breed solutions driving growth in customer acquisition
  • Build positive working relationship at the highest levels within the partner organizations and ensure long-term relationships with current and prospective partners
  • Build strategic relationships between Cisco and key ecosystem partners for joint solutions, offers & go-to-market
  • Identify, design, develop and implement effective channel & distribution strategies to achieve revenue goals
  • Develop and lead sales pipeline, prospect, assess sales and establish the right cadence to ensure optimal inventory levels at all times
  • Maintain a strong rigor on the all the key metrices such as market inventory, market operating prices of key Cisco products, partner profitability & competition benchmarking
  • Promote adoption of technical certifications & encourages partners to grow technical/architecture specializations
  • Promote Ciscos brand within the channel community in the territory by planning and executing the right marketing activities & programs
  • Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects, campaigns, and offers run for partners

Who you are

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience - core sales, channel sales, market expansion/creation experience or, business development.
  • Extensive experience of managing teams across functions and geographies
  • Inclusive and collaborative - driving teamwork and cross-team alignment
  • Strong partner relationship management and solution development skills
  • Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small audiences
  • Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through with partners
  • Have deep knowledge and expertise of the partners in the geography to drive partner connection in the defined territory to ensure maximum partner impact on customer acquisition, renewals and consumption
  • Minimum graduate qualification with relevant experience; MBA preferred
