Silicon and Mask Commodity Manager
Job DescriptionAs the Silicon and Mask Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Development of global expertise regarding the worldwide Silicon and Mask technology supply base including industry financial structure and trends.
Supplier assessment/selection and relationship development.
Negotiation of pricing, contracts, and supply availability.
Working closely with a cross functional team (engineering, finance, legal, purchasing, planning).
Setting longer term expectations with suppliers and tracking performance to key improvement initiatives.
Long range forecasting and supplier capacity/demand analyses.
Coordinating supplier performance management with technical/quality partners.
Working with technical/quality partners and Supply Line Managers to mitigate supplier quality/availability issues.
Negotiating Intel/Supplier collaboration agreements and assisting in the management of these projects.
Ensuring protection of Intel IP created during supplier/Intel engagements.
Managing supplier selection processes; interfacing/aligning with fab/Technology Development engineers and management of supply line issues/projects.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below: Â
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management with 4+ years of Commercial Supply Chain Management Experience.
Master's Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Supply Chain strategy, strategic negotiations, and Global Supplier management.
This position requires some domestic and international travel.
This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with fab manufacturing environment and/or sourcing of fab materials, Silicon wafers, Mask Blanks or Pellicles.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
