Expertise We Look For

Admittedly, expectations on this team are high – for a reason. Signal Processing is at the core of how our complex systems operate. Our teams specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), airborne surveillance platforms, underwater and surface warfare, advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, electronic warfare and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience

While there are varying degrees of subject matter expertise associated with Signals Processing or Signals Intelligence, if you have between 5-10 years of experience in any of following key areas, we would like to invite you to join our Signal Processing Talent Community for immediate and future opportunities

  • Innovative, adaptive signal processing algorithm development
  • Simulation design and development
  • Performance analysis, including Monte Carlo simulations and Cramer Rao bound analysis.
  • Signal processing algorithms
  • signal processing or acoustic propagation
  • Proposal development and technical writing experience
  • Flow down of system requirements to DSP FW/SW levels.
  • DSP applications, including Satellite/airborne communication links, signal intercept, signal measurement, GPS and RADAR.
  • FFT, FIR filters, Up/Down sampling, modulation, convolution, and correlations
  • OFDM and spread spectrum waveforms such as CDMA, UMTS, and LTE.
  • Statistics, detection and measurement, information theory, graph theory, RF receiver design (analog and digital), electronic warfare, image processing

     Skills and Competencies We Look For

    We look for a variety of experiences and skills for our team. If you are able to identify the following within your own inventory of experiences, we would be thrilled if you joined others like you in our talent community.

    • An undergraduate degree in Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
    • Solid understanding of Signal Processing concepts;
    • Solid understanding of Communication theory Proficiency in Matlab or Python;
    • Generating Signal Processing models and Communication models
    • Lab integration; familiarity with the following types of lab test equipment: Signal Generators, Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Signal Analyzers, Noise Generators, Digital Oscilloscopes. Experience with highly complex/military/classified systems
    • Development and implementation of new technology, including hardware, software, firmware, and system.
    • RF/Modulation hardware/software background.
    • Experience with intelligence community signal analysis/development tools.

      We think differently, we see things differently but the most significant element of our team is that we offer real depth to the role of a Signal Processing Engineer. You get to work on Agile Development Engineering teams, regularly support the transition of research and development concepts to highly complex operational systems, take part in proposal development and peer reviews across several divisions.

      We collaborate regularly with our product designers and of course, mentor our junior designers.  We track and report design progress (or technical risks) to our leadership team and we play a large role in the project planning / how best to resource the team for upcoming projects.
