The Neuromodulation Western Europe HQ team is now expanding its strategic capabilities in order to better reflect the needs of its customers and support the delivery of our Services Solutions portfolio while driving long term strategic partnerships for Medtronic.

**A Day in the Work Life**

The Services Solutions Specialist is responsible for creating value to and through our strategic customers while leveraging the integrated Neuromodulation therapy pathway services solutions programs. The individual will be responsible for supporting new partnership opportunity negotiations and creating a tailored value proposition addressing the exact needs of the customer. During execution of a partnership, the incumbent will monitor services and solutions contract and client objectives.

The Services Solutions Specialist will report into the Sr. Business Development, Transformation and Strategy Manager for Neuromodulation Western Europe.


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

+ Responsible for supporting the local sales team during strategic partnership negotiations and act as the subject matter expert for the full Neuromodulation services and solutions portfolio, ranging from patient pathway trajectories over remote monitoring solutions to digital ecosystem platforms.

+ Creates and owns a comprehensive and validated portfolio of services and solutions business models for neuromodulation in line with WE and local market needs.

+ Builds a tailored value proposition per strategic customer, thereby leveraging and incorporating the Neuromodulation portfolio of services and solutions. Communicates expected customer outcomes and benefits.

+ Monitors services and solutions contract and client objectives during the execution of partnerships.

+ Understands health system needs through analytics and customer interactions, identifies applicable solutions, liaises with other Operating Units, and shares best practices across Western Europe. Challenges status quo to bring new ideas.

+ Runs appropriate governance to ensure the timely progression of the account acquisition and contracting process in close collaboration with the local sales team.

+ Liaises with external parties (e.g. startups) to identify potential platform business models, thereby further expanding the business model portfolio.

+ Accountable for achievement of key performance indicators aligned to annual objectives.

**Must Haves**

+ Bachelor or masters degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biology, Economics, Marketing or Business Administration.

+ Strong commercial acumen evidenced by experience of working with or within healthcare (5 years Sales Experience).

+ Strong customer facing skills and notable executive presence coupled with the ability to design solutions at all levels from medical department and purchasing to C-suite.

+ Solid understanding of the healthcare landscape.

+ Incisive thinker, confident with concepts, analysis and frameworks. Ability to structure, manage and deliver change.

+ Strong project management orientation with the ability to prioritize and manage a complex list of projects to completion. Evidenced ability to deliver multi-layer deal making in healthcare.

+ Enthusiastic, positive mindset, solid communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work effectively in cross-functional matrix to successfully deliver objectives to time and budget.

+ Solid understanding of patient pathways and surgical environment in a hospital.

+ Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to deal with ambiguity and to demonstrate agility.

+ Fluent in English and at least 1 other European language.

+ Up to 50% travel required in Western Europe.
