What You'll Do

The Services Portfolio and Change Management Leader for APJC is a key leadership role with significant visibility and influence over the Services business across the region. The team is looking for a strategic thinker and dedicated execution-oriented leader to help transform and propel the Services business to the next phase of growth. You will partner with the Services Sales Leadership Team and the broader functional teams to prioritize, plan and operationalize key business processes.

You will lead and develop a team of portfolio professionals and analysts to identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities, accelerate action against these priorities through strategic and long-range business planning, and lead change within the theatres and CX teams that will ensure the highest performance and growth over the next three years.

You will play a critical role to Transform and Run the business, including:

  • Orchestrate the formation of Services Theater Sales Strategy Priorities to create TAM, increase Market Share and drive Sustainable Growth.
  • Build and ensure the successful execution of operating models that combine theatre services sales teams, the Cisco APJC Customer Experience team, and the Architectures product specialist teams.
  • Partner with APJC and global functions to ensure alignment between Ciscos overall view and APJC Services such as - Strategic Direction, Enablement Programs and Best Practices.
  • You will partner with the leadership team to drive the Training & Development of the Services sales organization, providing clear learning roadmaps and evolve the salesforce in terms of skill-sets and role evolution.
  • You will also partner closely with Finance, HR and cross functional operations teams to ensure targeted data and metrics availability for clear/crisp accountability and streamlined decision-making, ad hoc analysis and decision support.
  • You will work closely with the operations leads to accelerate change and operational excellence in areas such as Funnel Management, Forecast Accuracy and Talent management metrics.

Who You'll Work With

The APJC Transformation Office team is responsible for customer and business transformation across four towers within the Cisco APJC Sales organization: Global Accounts, Digital Transformation and IT as a Business, Services and SP as a Channel.  While each of these business areas is distinct, all have interconnections from a customer and business perspective within the countries and theatres.  The team is responsible for driving customer transformation across the entire Cisco portfolio, within most major segments, seeking different and unique ways of doing business, but always tying back to Ciscos technology and services portfolio.  The ultimate goal of the team is to drive growth initiatives for Cisco APJC that will be critical to its success in FY20 and the next three years beyond.

You will work with the Theatre Services Sales leadership team, the Customer Experience leadership team, the global portfolio management and sales leadership team, and the Architectures product sales specialist team to shape/drive top priorities, engage in organization-wide change and benefit Cisco APJCs growth and profitability.

Your role is people, data and communications intensive; it requires excellent leadership, critical thinking, independence, organizational, data analysis and communication skills.

Specifically, we are looking for leaders who has the following characteristics and experiences:

  • 10+ years in technology industry in a strategy & operations role or in a senior role in management consulting in the technology space. MBA, Consulting or Business Development background would be advantageous.
  • Must have knowledge of the professional services or technical services industry, key business drivers and importance in supporting a technology business.
  • Strategic and innovative with an external awareness to adapt to market transitions and understand the nuances of selling complex solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, management, strategic influencing, creative thinking, conflict resolution and team building skills.
  • An individual who has had experience with large scale transformation and change management that involves transitioning the behavior of inidividuals to new business models would also be helpful.
  • A teammate, developing and fostering meaningful relationships and strong collaboration skills, with amazing track record of leading and working with cross functional teams.
  • Strong operational command of businesses, including metrics based goals and achievement approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills an executive presence, with the ability to address and influence both executive and mid-level management audiences.
  • A self-starter, independent and a driver. Detail oriented, have a 'can-do' attitude, takes initiative and is highly organized. Acts with a sense of urgency.
