Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM CIO is seeking a ServiceNow Software Developer that possesses advanced development capabilities and can design, build, and customize ServiceNow applications, integrations and services. The Developer works across multiple applications, delivers new functionality, innovative solutions and supports the entire development lifecycle. The ServiceNow Software Developer has a software development background that will be enhanced by ServiceNow System Administration, ServiceNow Advanced System Administration, Scripting in ServiceNow, and Application Creation in ServiceNow.

This job is onsite in Southbury, CT (United States)

Lead all technical aspects of the solution delivery within ServiceNows ITSM solution, including:
  • Designs and develops new ServiceNow applications and services
  • Development of required integration components using REST, SSO, LDAP, etc.
  • Takes ownership of complex business requirements and works them to completion
  • Creation and delivery of solutions for clients
  • Assists ServiceNow Business Analyst in estimating release level of effort
  • Assists ServiceNow System Administrators with incident resolution
  • Provides mentoring and guidance for ServiceNow System Administrators
  • Continually learn and obtain education for new ServiceNow applications and functionality
  • Works in an Agile and DevOps CI/CD environment

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science
  • 5+ years of experience ServiceNow Development
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM Products: Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management, Service Desk, Knowledge, Service, Configuration and Asset Management
  • Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience with GitHub or similar Code Repository solutions
  • Experience working in an Agile and/or DevOps environment
  • Experience with Enterprise IT Service Management
