Service Manager (m/f/d) Central Europe

The Service Manager (m/f/d) Central Europe will lead a team of Field Service Engineers and Managers (m/f/d). Developing, improving and motivating the organization to deliver best service which customers would expect. Making the organization the best place to work and targeting growth, efficiency and margin.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for leadership of direct reports to include ongoing direction, coaching, and development
  • Drive business results and manage customer relationships - mainly in Germany, Switzerland and Austria
  • Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and all internal Leica Microsystems teams and organizations
  • Lead service delivery which continuously surpasses customer expectations
  • Leverage internal relationships to enhance business performance and customer experiences
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with the EHS policies and procedures and the Leica Microsystems Quality Management System
  • Drive change initiatives as required to improve efficiencies and execute on business commitments
  • Own operational processes (preventive and corrective jobs completion, customers satisfaction, associates€™ engagement, growth, profitability€¦)
  • Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve the Service Business. Promote and motivate direct reports and teams to contribute in continuously improving our service delivery, execution and commercialization

    Our Expectations:

    • At least five years of experience in the aftermarket service in at least one of the sectors Healthcare, Life Science, Industrial or IT markets
    • Proven experience leading Field Service Engineers and Manager (m/f/d)
    • Previous service experience and knowledge
    • Work experience in managing customer relationships and managing at least a team P&L
    • Strong exposure to change management, conflict resolution and structures set-up
    • Proficiency in SAP and SFDC Service Cloud experience is an advantage
    • Excellent written and verbal English
    • Very good German communication and de-escalation ability. French is an advantage
