We focus on the transcatheter replacement or repair of the four heart valvesaortic, pulmonic, mitral, tricuspidand the placement of stent grafts to treat aneurysms and dissections of the bodys largest artery, the aorta.

**A Day in the Life**

As the Sr. Technical Sourcing Specialist, you will actively partnerwith RD product development teams to provide direct procurement, materials management and demand planning support for assigned projects. You will develop supplier and material data analytics, standard work and performance metrics for both indirect and direct supply base. Youwill manage supplier interactions with NPD Technology teams aligning with Project Management and Operations Supply teams to ensure flawless launch at manufacturing transfer.


**You will:**


+ Providecross-commodity sourcing leadership for New Product Development teams, Technology group, and Research group.

+ Representstrategic sourcing as a focal point on these teams for new product introductions and product transfers.

+ Coordinatethe transfer of program information and responsibilities to commodity teams and/or manufacturing location such that they are effective in meeting program goals.

+ Ensure proper Supplier Readiness for all Structural Heart/ Aortic New Product development project launches.

+ Supportsupplier Value Stream and Capacity Planning

+ SupportSupplier Business Continuity Assessment

+ EnsureMaterial Readiness for Qualification and initial Commercial builds

+ Partnerwith department Technical Sourcing Engineers and Commodity Management on development of site supplier strategy and overall Supply Management governance

+ Partnerwith Operations Materials Management on development of launch transfer best practices.

+ Providecross-commodity sourcing leadership for New Product Development teams, Technology group, and Clinical/Research groups.

+ Representstrategic sourcing as a focal point on these teams for new product introductions and product transfers.

+ Coordinatethe transfer of program information and responsibilities to commodity teams and/or manufacturing locations such that they are effective in meeting program goals/ initiatives.

+ DriveSupplier Evaluation, Selection, Development, Qualification, and Product Launch Ramp-up in line with Commodity Strategies.

+ Trackand managesupplied component Quality, Supply Risk, Material Cost, Response / Lead Time, Technology advancement for the full Device Bill of Material, (for both the new and legacy components).


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a technical sourcing, project management, or new product development role, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experiencein a technical sourcing, project management, or new product development role.


**Nice to Have**


+ APICS/DRM Green Belt/ DFSS and/or Lean Sigma experience or certification

+ Procuring and/or purchasing experience in lab services, sterilization, and/or packaging

+ NPD/NPI work experience

+ Program/project management experience

+ Supply chain management/sourcing/supply and/or demand planning experience

+ Dynamic team player and leader who can work effectively on cross-functional teams

+ Medical device or regulated industry and knowledge of applicable FDA/GMP and International medical device regulations and standards experience preferred.

+ Knowledge/experience with specific technologies such as injection molding, extrusion, machining, wire drawing, Lab Testing Services experience or capacity other manufacturing methods/processes.
