They are able to partner with hospital management teams to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and optimize operations, while delivering a managed on-site service focused on material and equipment management.


**A Day in the Life**


A new exciting opportunity has arisen for an I **HS Senior Surgical Business Development Manager UKI** to join us. In this role you will build, maintain and develop overall IHS Surgical Operating Unit (OU) business relationships and partnerships with existing and new customers. You will act as the Medtronic business liaison for our customers and as the interface with C-suite and Sr. Management within our clients organizations.


As a **Senior Surgical Business Development Manager UKI** within IHS your main responsibilities will involve:


Build attractive business cases and propositions matching customer needs with available service portfolio, which are resonating in the market and relevant for all internal and external stakeholders.


Take ownership on developing and executing account specific commercial action plans targeted at successfully selling transformational managed services partnerships.


Act as an ambassador and accelerator within IHS / MDT to create excitement, interest and tangible demand for surgical oriented long-term partnership models.


Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.


Lead strategically important commercial projects: develop and test-run new Medtronic IHS Surgical OU business models, pilots service offerings etc.


**Must Haves**


Masters degree in relevant functional area (Commercial, Business, Sales) or equivalent.


At least 5-10 years of experience in a commercial / business development role in the medical (device), pharmaceutical or health industry.


Experience in selling large scale strategic transformational partnership programs.


Thorough knowledge of the decision-making process within hospitals (physicians, C-suite, economic buyer) and health systems.


Experience in leading complex negotiations for multi-year agreements.


Experience in delivering strategies around Operating Room optimization programs.


Experience in financial modelling and presentation development.


Experience in healthcare consultancy proposal building and delivery.


Strong customer and business focus combined with solid market analysis and strategic thinking.


Ability to develop and foster business relationships with continuously changing stakeholder groups inside key customers organization.


Ability to think strategically, to establish plans, and to execute for results.


Excellent skills in project management to handle complex financial deals and develop new solutions and services opportunities.


Ability to work as a team-player and work in a complex matrix organization.


Willingness to travel within country (25-50%) and within EMEA (10%).


Fluency in English.
