Purpose and Objective: 

 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior Solution Sales Executive at our Miami, FL location and various client sites nationwide to achieve overall revenue goal by creating a complete territory business plan that generates at least 3x their quota in pipeline opportunity.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

 

Responsible to identify and qualify opportunities, develop and drive strategy. Develop an opportunity plan containing the value proposition for all of SAP's targeted line of business  solutions (CRM, HCM, SCM, GRC, EPM, Business Intelligence, etc.) and services to potential customers & prospects in that territory. Be adept at creating and nurturing executive relationships on their own while positioning the SAP executive team. Works with the Sales Manager and team to develop and execute programs to drive pipeline & close deals. Works with the Regional VAT to educate target accounts on the solution set and conducts account planning for strategic deals. Works to uncover and run sales cycles based opportunities as directed by the Regional Sales Lead. Works with VAT team on sales campaigns. Leads efforts to establish, develop, and expand market share and revenue attainment within named accounts. Works to attain various sales objectives related to securing new business opportunities within named customers. Develops sales best practices securing repeatable and expansive opportunities across named accounts. 50% travel required to various client sites nationwide.


Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

 

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field of study and 6 years of experience required.  The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience

 

Work Experience:

 

Experience must involve 4 years in the following: selling business software and/or IT solutions; Sales Methodology; Negotiation; Territory management; Value Selling; presentation skills, including engaging with customers at the CXO level and establishing relationships based on knowledge of customer requirements and commitment to value; Orchestration of remote teams and effective use of SAP Programs to maximize the value of sales support organizations; Sales Product Solution Knowledge for digital Transformation Planning and Innovation, including Industry Solutions; develop and maintain customer relationships; Actively understand customers technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy and competitive landscape; create account and opportunity plans working closely with Industry AEs and solutions consultants; and Accounts Market Knowledge. 50% travel required to various client sites nationwide.
