Responsibilities

Successful candidates must capture and translate mission and customer requirements and transform them into capabilities, testing and validation of services. Analyze and allocate requirements to system architecture components and oversee the development, testing.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Decomposing and allocating strategic level requirements from ECDs, SOCs and agency CONOPs
  • Developing engineering artifacts, requirements documentation and business cases
  • Developing and maintaining a requirements traceability matrix
  • Developing and maintaining program performance measures
  • Developing, communicating and participating in system engineering boards
  • Ensuring management is informed of all issues, risk and opportunities in a timely manner
  • Use Joint Architecture Reference Model (JARM) to describe, analyze and identify potential architecture service gaps, support AOA, leverage existing resources and assist with invest and divest decisions for the program and agency
  • Capture strategic Sensor Program requirements from associated CONOPs

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems or related scientific or technical discipline
  • 12 to 18+ years of experience working in a Requirements Engineering discipline or a closely-related field that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the task associated with this work
  • Experience using DOORS to manage requirements and interface with Enterprise Requirements Management
  • Experience tracing program/project requirements to the source requirement such as the Joint Architecture Reference Model (JARM), and JARM Technical Service Types (TSTs) for duplication analysis and gap analysis
  • Ability to coordinate with users and stakeholders to develop Sensor program requirements for new and changing mission needs

Desired Qualifications:

  • MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related scientific or technical discipline
  • Knowledge of geospatial intelligence mission and its contributions to the Intelligence Community
  • Familiarity with NGAs Request for Change (RFC) and Configuration Control Board processes
  • Familiarity with Agile Development to include participation in scrums, development of solution epics, lean business cases, program epics, user stories, and features
  • Scrum master experience
  • Experience with JIRA, CONFLUENCE and Tableau for tracking requirements, documentation and backlog process
  • Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/projects work experience
