The Sr. Project Manager will lead strategic real estate and facility projects and will be responsible for achieving business objectives.  S/he works closely with the Real Estate and Facilities team and LOB leadership to define the project objectives, create project plans, and execute the project.  The Project Manager has a working knowledge of the technical and organizational environments in which the Project deliverables are created and in which they will be used. 


The Project Manager must be an excellent communicator at all levels within the Project environment, be proactive, exhibit strong leadership qualities, be able to influence and be able to adapt to a dynamic and potentially geographically disbursed Project environment.  The diverse portfolio consists of ~250 manufacturing, engineering and office properties ranging from small to large in size.  As part of a team of real estate professionals, the individual will partner with business leaders and external service providers to drive efficient use of all real estate assets in compliance with the Workplace Policy.



   Lead projects ranging from $100k to $10M in size. 


   Manage the timely resolution of issues, including the escalation of issues that are outside of the Project teams scope of responsibility.


  Continually identify and proactively manage Project risks & issues, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure.


  Monitor the Project and report the Project status to management on a regular basis.


  Participate in local cross-functional teams (IT, HR, Procurement, Site leaders, business leaders, etc.) to plan and execute the real estate and facilities projects.  Interact external vendors, furniture vendors and 3rd parties.


  Support the construction and tenant improvements of new facilities and/or renovations of existing facilities; interact and work with local internal resources and external contractors.


  Provide data for business cases and support presentation of recommendations to executive management.


  Small and large project management. Works closely with departments to design and build space to accommodate business needs.  


  Determine rent allocation at larger facilities.  Work closely with different departments to complete layouts for new equipment and oversee moves, adds and changes to work areas.


   Administrator of CAD drawings for large sites.  Support Facilities and EH&S team by providing data for energy and environmental projects. 

















At least 5 years of experience in facility and project management is a plus

Strong understanding of finance and cost accounting

Fluent English

LEED AP (or similiar experience) desirable

At least 3 years of Project management (as team member or leader, but with good understanding of project management)

Leadership skills: Communicator, Organizer, Influential, Action Planner, Self Motivated, Implementer

Bachelors Degree (Masters Degree preferred) in Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering,

Facilities/Construction Management, Finance or related technical field

Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively manage relationships with internal and external business partners; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management

Excellent project management skills, and the ability to analyze problems and recommend alternative solutions

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous task; willingness to take ownership of issues and win buy-in of others

The position requires travel in North America (up to 50%)
