The Social Responsibility (SR) program drives customer trust and business continuity by ensuring respect for the rights of workers throughout Amazon€™s supply chain and operations. We uphold company standards and expectations (such as Amazon's Supply Chain Standards), and seek to constantly improve the tools and processes that we use in doing so.

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to manage touch points, processes, and inputs from business stakeholders into the Social Responsibility€™s strategy for sourcing and tracing responsible soft commodities, such as cotton, seafood, cocoa, palm oil, or other food ingredients. This Program Manager will be part of a customer obsessed team responsible for ensuring the SR program evolves effectively to meet the needs of our changing business models and sourcing dynamics. This Program Manager will work cross-functionally within the team and across Amazon business models to develop strong supplier due diligence processes and reporting.

General Responsibilities:
· Develop and own Amazon€™s responsible soft commodities sourcing strategy, prioritizing ways to leverage external partners and technology;
· Understand the end-to-end supplier due diligence process, and develop a point of view on whether or not/ how changes impact our internal and external customers;
· Coordinate with stakeholders across Amazon business models, as well as external multi-stakeholder initiatives, audit firms, and suppliers;
· Build self-service tools and resources for businesses to assess and act on their soft commodities sourcing risks;
· Create business metrics and reporting;
· Analyze data to track trends and initiating deep dives to detect opportunities;
· Maintain internal and external resources based on improvements and changes to the program
· Improve processes for ingesting and analyzing data
Specific Responsibilities
· Define strategy and field questions from across SR, business stakeholders and suppliers;
· Revise existing documentation for SR, business stakeholders, and external suppliers based on FAQs and program revisions;
· Work to develop reporting so business teams can understand where action is needed;
· Work cross-functionally to find ways to innovate;
· Support SR in increasing program through an expanded supply chain scope

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree
· Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
· 5+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects
· 5+ years of experience in program or project management
· 5+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications
· Master€™s degree or equivalent in agriculture systems, commodity management, or international development
· Experience working with commodity-specific organizations (e.g., cotton, palm oil), multi-stakeholder initiatives, or markets;
· Background in program/project management, supply chain due diligence, and/or logistics;
· Exposure to Lean techniques such as Six Sigma;
· Experience with workflow management systems;
· Knowledge of Tableau and/or SQL;
· Energized by improving processes and solving problems for internal and external stakeholders;
· Equally happy diving deep/in the details and identifying trends to solve larger issues;
· A strong communicator who understands how to tailor messages for specific audiences;
· Incredibly organized, self-motivated, and over-indexes on ownership;
· Passionate and curious about sustainability, responsible sourcing, and human rights.
· Experience working in raw material sourcing and traceability, social responsibility, operations, or compliance
