DESCRIPTION

Amazon Custom Advertising is a global 100+ person organization that runs custom campaigns for top advertisers. Examples of past campaigns include Robert Downey Jr. using Alexa to promote Dolittle, Formula 1 drivers using a McLaren to deliver Coca Cola products, and Hyundai using Prime Now to offer test drives from customers€™ homes. The Custom Ads Product & Tech team (CAPT) owns developing the most promising custom ad experiences into scaled products, ranging from rewards-driven ad products to Amazon On-Box advertising.

We're looking for a seasoned Senior Product Manager to manage existing and develop new ad products within our Out of Home ad product suite. Currently, Custom Out of Home allows advertisers to feature their brand messaging on Amazon boxes. This could include brands advertising movie releases, wireless subscriptions, insurance, product categories sold on Amazon and more. There is ample opportunity to expand this product category to include other out of home properties and strategies such as adding additional package types, the creation of a product sampling program, truck wraps, and more. This represents a sizable portion of Amazon Custom Advertising, and a strong product leader is needed to drive innovation to elevate this business. They will need to obsess over and work backwards from customers to understand their needs and invent products that delight them while delivering an equally delightful experience for brands.

This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial product leader who possesses a natural curiosity, sharp analytical skills and is excited to pioneer on behalf of customers. You will own the Out of Home business end to end by defining product vision and strategy, collaborating cross-functionally to introduce new products to market, and executing and scaling quickly. You will apply both business and technical acumen in a fast-paced, ambiguous and innovative environment.

Specific Responsibilities:
· Drive product requirement definitions, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, and launch efforts.
· Manage resources and feature prioritization globally and feel comfortable working with technical and non-technical teams to make decisions about complex problems
· Invent on behalf of customers by introducing industry-disrupting advertising solutions within the Out of Home space
· Initiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of product features and enhancements
· Own weekly and monthly reporting on the state of the initiatives you own. Utilize metrics to deep-dive into issues and uncover business-driving trends and patterns
· Measure improvements and impact of changes by creating mechanisms to audit impact and perform necessary course corrections where needed to meet business objectives
· Manage engagement with multiple stakeholders €“ in the US and across the globe €“ including Tax, Legal, Operations, and Tech.
· Present confidently to Amazon senior management as well as other large audiences.
· Work at all levels in the organization, with no job being considered too large or small.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 1+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
· Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
· Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
· Experience with product cycles of 6+ months
· 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
· Bachelor's Degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA Preferred.
· Advertising industry experience, previous product/program, and/or business development experience are highly desired.
· Be comfortable and able to deal with ambiguity
· Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize.
· Experience handling complex data analysis.
· Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically.
· Strong oral and written communication skills, proven ability to influence others internally and externally, and experience partnering with a world-wide sales organization.
· A proven track record of delivering initiatives from conception through completion on time, within budget and on or beyond scope.
