\rThe Senior Procurement Buying Manager runs the Procurement Operations Team, drives savings and cash improvement through strategic projects, upgrades team experience and knowledge, improves cycle time and team efficiency via development of strong and sustainable processes.
\rKey Responsibilities
\r- \r
- Develop strategies, plans, procedures \r
- Implement processes and policy changes \r
- Supervise maintenance of procurement process \r
- Analyze data to inform operational decisions or activities \r
- Examine financial records to ensure compliance with policies or regulations \r
- Negotiate agreements for products or services \r
- Communicating with Persons Outside Organization \r
- Making Decisions and Solving Problems \r
- Coordinating the Work and Activities of Others \r
YOU MUST HAVE
\r- \r
- Bachelors degree \r
- 5+ years procurement experience demonstrating progressive leadership \r
- 3+ years management experience \r
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements \r
WE VALUE

- Prior SAP experience \r
- Proven track record with team management \r
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services; including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction \r
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data \r
- Broad experience in operational procurement \r
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skill \r
- Ability to resolve problems, transition and transform sourcing activities \r
- Good understanding of best-in-class sourcing management processes and techniques \r
- Advanced Analytics and advanced Excel skills \r
- Supplier Relationship Management (e.g., SLA's management, performance/score carding) \r
