Position Summary
As Senior Manager, Training & Development you will lead a team of trainers whose mission is to drive step-change growth and innovation across our inside sales organization.  You will be responsible for all NSC learning and development initiatives related to inside sales agent readiness and enablement.  You will serve as a key business partner with ADTs corporate L&D team for execution of corporate learning and development initiatives related to the NSC.  At ADT we take pride in saving lives, leading change and having fun.
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leads a functional training team by providing clarity of vision and expectations; role modeling effective coaching and performance feedback, prioritizing resources; facilitating alignment of the team.
  • Develop processes for new rep onboarding, ongoing readiness and continuing education programs which enable sales teams to present best in class solutions to potential customers.
  • Develop strategies for inside sales agent enablement to provide agents with the resources they need to generate more revenue; creating a culture of success and ongoing NSC sales goal achievement.
  • Ensure training curriculum and content is up to date and current.  Utilize latest technology and digital platform for training. Build a digital library and coaching corner for ongoing development of associates.
  • Develop new training programs to fulfill training needs. Design training tools, including formal presentations, handout materials, and handbooks. 
  • Assess gaps in readiness and enablement in partnership with corporate L&D team and identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of sales programs and processes through best practice sharing, process improvement, effective analytics and cross-functional leadership collaboration.
  • Oversee Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance team and identify opportunities for agent feedback and coaching.
  • Develop and execute a diverse and creative communications framework to align employees and generate understanding and commitment to achieving the business plan.
  • Act as a champion for change and ensure adequate and thoughtful communication around such change
  • Cultivate employee engagement and positive employee relations environment.
  • Advocate and ensure corporate training and learning initiatives are executed effectively within the NSC
