The Ad Campaign Management and Publishing pipeline enables advertisers to create and manage their campaigns in self-service manner and real-time publishing of advertising catalog changes to ad serving systems. This is a high scale distributed storage system handling thousands of requests-per-second, a large (TB) catalog size with millions of entities published updates/day. The system supports Campaign Management for Sponsored Products (SP) and Sponsored Brands (SB). It is an extremely large scale, distributed, and highly available system.

We are looking to hire a Sr. Manager, Software Development to manage large scale, distributed solution that are highly optimized for high throughput and low latency. These systems are critical for our partners to deliver core features for end advertisers. You will be responsible for hiring, mentoring and managing a highly skilled group of Software Development Engineers and Managers, managing them to deliver and growing their careers. In this role you will own and lead innovation by delivering value to our customers. The successful candidate is one who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong understanding of core software development and algorithmic concepts. The candidate is passionate about technology and wants to solve real customer problems. · 10+ years of relevant engineering experience
· 5+ years of experience, managing engineers and managers
· Experience in partnering with product and program management teams


· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
· 10+ years of experience building and managing high performance technical teams and running multiple concurrent programs or projects
· 5+ years of experience as a software developer
· Experience leading and inspiring technical managers: Encouraging innovation, operational excellence, and team development
· Able to manage complex initiatives from conception to launch and deliver high-quality, innovative, clean and timely technical solutions
· Broad technical depth across the stack, with particular strength in web application development
· Able to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Experience of applying agile software development methodologies
· Able to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
· English Speaking. Comfortable with a document-driven culture, armed with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
