Senior Manager, Sales Operations & Customer Operations Planning

The Role:

The Senior Manager reports to the office of the CEO and is responsible for driving key business processes across CG, DESG & SCBU and Marketing. This operational role is also responsible for capturing the "voice of the customer" across multiple dimensions specific to product, platform, and customer outcomes. She/he will leverage input from customers, sales operations, supply chain, BU, etc. to present a holistic customer centric view to the C-suite and BU leaders. It is a great time to be at AMD!

 

The Person:

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated leader with a clear understanding of the operations of semiconductor product development lifecycles, demand management processes, manufacturing processes, inclusive of sales forecasting and other key inputs for successful Sales & Operational Planning key processes. She/he will be responsible for setting up a formal Customer Survey.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting / S&OP adherence / Implement Customer Survey

  • Responsible for ensuring above processes in place to manage across multiple Business Units, Supply chain and Marketing
  • Partner with Global Operations to ensure a comprehensive & transparent view into the BUs CPU / GPU / APU production cycle
  • Continually integrate input from Sales Ops Planning and BUs to ensure execution to plan
  • Communicate overall supply chain impacts to C-suite leadership & BU leadership

 

Customer Analytics

  • Develop a consensus among the C-suite and BU leadership on customer engagement measurement criteria.
  • Execute customer engagement surveys; collate and present customer engagement levels/scoresnalytics to corporate leadership.
  • Recommend modifications / improvements aimed at driving customer engagement and adoption of AMD products and services.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven experience with CPU, GPU or APU full-life-cycle product development from concept, design, manufacture, and sales.
  • Expertise in semiconductor operations to include significant supply chain and demand planning optimization experience
  • Experience in direct customer advocacy programs and engagement in post-sales support, or equivalent experience in high tech, project management or related functions.
  • Understanding of Net Promoter Score and the ability to partner with internal constituencies to develop a deeper customer engagement survey
  • Organizational agility the ability to maneuver inside of AMD to accomplish multifaceted objectives across BU, Global Ops, Marketing, and the Office of the CEO

 

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelors in engineering or related field; Masters preferred
