Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Financial Services organization is seeking an experienced and motivated manager who possesses a unique balance of strong interpersonal, people management and Cloud technical delivery management skills. You will lead a team of highly skilled Customer Solutions Managers (CSMs), who are technical delivery managers and trusted advisors to their customers. You will partner with AWS sales, professional services, and AWS service teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud solutions (spanning technology, people and process) with robust delivery plans to address some of the world€™s largest financial services firm€™s business problems, thereby accelerating the rate of adoption of AWS in the financial services vertical.

As a trusted customer advocate, you will help large global financial services organizations understand best practices around adopting advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. Together with them, you will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within financial services firms. We are also looking for individuals with a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and delivery challenges.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Serve as an expert in the field, providing assistance on large initiatives. Adept in guiding your team on planning and managing multi-disciplinary complex solutions delivery, spanning many interdependent work streams. You will provide both hands-on and advisory assistance across multiple global financial services customers to assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, balance trade-offs, and encourage risk-tasking to maximize business value. You will yourself act as an AWS evangelist and influence at customer C- level relationships, which leading your team to establish senior customer relationships, to help realize their goals.

You enjoy working with large, global financial services firms and have a strong understanding of what it takes (people/ process and technology) for our customers to implement successful cloud transformations. You will have a passion for delivering quality outcomes for a diverse and challenging set of financial services customers.

Responsible for team management, including headcount planning, hiring, objectives and performance management.

Experience in managing program and project management professionals working at large global customers, to deliver complex technology transformational change. You know how to hire the best talent, develop these individuals and coach them to be successful at their customer. You know how to invent new ways of team collaboration and how to empower individuals.

Be an evangelist for the Customer Solutions Management function by working across AWS teams to provide education and garner feedback on ways to work better both internally and with the customer. Working in collaboration with the WW CSM function leader in Global Financial Services, you will be responsible for defining and maturing the function, while developing new and repeatable processes to benefit the unique customer base. You will be responsible for embedding the best practices in all of the Global Financial Services customer base and assist in adoption across AWS accounts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 10+ years leading complex, large scale, technology transformation programs, particularly at large financial services firms
· 7+ years in a senior client facing role
· Deep understanding of software development/engineering lifecycle from conception to delivery
· Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver information at the C-suite/VP level
· Demonstrated leadership through influence
· Team management and people development
· Self-motivated problem solver; able to thrive in a dynamic and customer-focused environment
· Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly
· Superior written and verbal communication skills
· Strong listening skills; demonstrated ability to ask effective questions
· Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with precise attention to detail
· Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, responds to customer needs quickly and effectively, adapts to change
· PMP/ PgMP and/or SCRUM/Agile/SAFe certified
· Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or equivalent experience (Computer Science preferred)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience working with current web technologies (especially Cloud)
· Direct experience in adoption of AWS/cloud services in an enterprise environment
· Prior experience working in a Technology sales organization and/or a Consulting organization
· Experience of leading programs that include operating model change, and advising teams through change €“ including workforce enablement and training needs
