**Key Responsibilities:**


Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of JIRA Data Center instances. Work with engineering and the business to enable standard usage patterns, automate configuration, customizations and integrations with other systems in the CI/CD pipeline.


Maintenance of related Java applications, Unix shell scripts, team documentation, web content and presentation.


**Knowledge/Experience:**


The position requires experience with JIRA administration, JIRA automation or API use, a good understanding of common developer tools such as JIRA, Git, Eclipse, Jenkins with a clear understanding of how to apply them to ALM processes. The candidate must be comfortable working in a Unix/Linux environment with experience in scripting automation. Must have good communication skills as the candidate will be required to liaise with and support developers, gather requirements, document support and user guides and assist with on-boarding to engineered solutions.

+ Fundamental understanding of Java and JIRA administration

+ Experience with the Atlassian JIRA API and SDK

+ Understanding of programming best practices

+ Experienced with Linux (Red Hat)

+ Shell Programming/scripting

+ Web based development (HTML, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets)

+ Git
