Sr. Director, Long Term Value Initiatives

**Job Description**

The Senior Director of Long Term Value Initiatives is responsible for the strategic planning and managing of initiatives and/or programs being conducted within the corporate functions of CVS Health, as they relate to the Enterprise Modernization initiative.

This leader will be a vital team member of the Enterprise Modernization team, reporting to the SVP of Enterprise Modernization. You will be responsible for the overall results and deliverables related to the individual initiatives and will need to collaborate with senior leadership across several business units to be successful. You will direct a team of consultants and collaborate directly with cross-functional colleagues to align on planning and execution.

1. You will oversee the execution of the vision and strategy for all Long Term Value corporate functions associated with Enterprise Modernization initiatives, including:

Provide leadership, oversight, and find opportunities to collaborate between the business unit initiative work streams. Responsible for leading a team of planning leads, analysts, and consultants

Lead the execution of discovered opportunities including: organizational processes and redesigns, organizational structure, and operational support infrastructures

Ensure execution of business unit initiatives while minimizing organizational disruption and maximizing customer, patient, and client experience

2. Partner and collaborate across the enterprise

Develop and manage senior leader relationships to ensure effective alignment and execution of all opportunities

Partner with Corporate Communications and Change Management teams to develop and execute comprehensive long-term plans

3. Collaborate with finance and executive leadership to analyze and report progress toward achieving overall financial goals, as well as identifying leading indicators

4. Provide regular updates to SVP of Enterprise Modernization, department leaders, and Modernization Office

Develop materials and provide updates to the management and executive committees, as well as materials for Board of Directors meetings


The ideal candidate possesses intellectual curiosity and has the confidence to challenge the status quo and champion change, as well as comfort with ambiguity. This person will have executive-level presentation skills, both verbal and written.


**Required Qualifications**

8+ years of experience in executing large scale, cross-functional, healthcare and/or retail initiatives at the executive level

5+ years of program management experience

5+ years of leading teams


**Preferred Qualifications**

Highly effective at managing in a matrixed organization and translating complex programs to executive management and team members

Strategy and planning experience is strongly preferred

Desire to engage in detailed planning and functional content related to integration


**Education**

Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Master's preferred.
