Summary of Essential Job Duties: Reporting to the Executive Director, Development, Heart Institute in the Department of Community Relations and Development, the Senior Development Officer Inns responsibility for identification, involvement, cultivation and solicitation of prospective donors fur assigned programs and services at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. As pan of this responsibility, the Senior Development Officer will work in close collaboration with fellow gift officers, volunteers, faculty and medical center leadership in planning and implementation of programs and events. Educational Requirements: BS/BA Degree or equivalent job experience preferred Experience: Minimum of five years fundraising experience soliciting gills of over 550,000 Excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer relations skills Knowledge of community Computer skills; experience with database management, (Raiser's Edge 7 preferred), word-processing and similar software programs is preferred Ability to work independently, under pressure and use independent judgment in a well-organized manner Ability to apply professional presence that convey credibility and engender trust. Physical Requirements: Ability to navigate standard office setting
