In this exciting role as a CyberSecurity Sr. Engineer you will have responsibility to lead, direct and organize the overall
development activities related to CyberSecurity. In this role you will act as
the lead CyberSecurity engineer working closely with the RD teams to Review,
analyze, test and document CyberSecurity activities.

You will work closely with
Medtronic corporate CyberSecurity
committees to implement all relevant standards as part of product development procedures.

complication-free recovery, and enhanced patient outcomes through less invasive
surgical solutions.

**A Day in the Life of a CyberSecuritySenior Engineer**

+ Analyze relevantCybersecurity standards and FDA related guidance.

+ Analyze and writeCybersecurity requirements for the different development products.

+ Lead Cybersecurity riskassessment and mitigations for the different development products.

+ Lead the Cybersecurityrelated labs infrastructure.

+ Create Cybersecurity test protocolsand run related lab tests.

+ Manage security-relateddeliverables for regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with key standards/ guidance documents.

+ Evaluate and test security riskson programs across the entire development lifecycle, includingmarket-released product.

**Must Have: MinimumRequirements**

+ B.S./B.A. in an Engineering,Computer Science, or similar related field

+ CISSP or similarcertification, or sufficient demonstrated experience and/or formaleducation in cyber security and information assurance.

+ Minimum 4 years of relevantexperience, or advanced degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience

**Nice to Have**

+ Experience as an engineer,developer, or architect with core cyber security responsibility and knowledgein two or more of the following areas:

+ Medical devicesand systems

+ IoT (embedded)devices and systems

+ Cloud systemsarchitecture and security

+ Enterprise andlocal network infrastructure security

+ Large-scaleapplication architecture and security

+ Mobile deviceapplication architecture and security

+ Data protectionarchitectures for data at rest and in transit

+ Risk assessmentsand cyber security regulatory requirements

+ Security incident management experience

+ Log event management and searching experience(Splunk or similar)

+ Programming skills in one or more of thefollowing: C, C++, Python, Java, .NET, Python, Go, Ruby, Scala and/or Bash.

+ In-depth OS systems-level experience within one ormore of the following: Linux, Windows, Android, iOS

+ Demonstrated understanding of networking(ports/protocols), firewalls, load balancers and IPS

+ Must have the ability to understand and analyzePCAP

+ Demonstrated understanding of information securitypractices, risk management processes, cyber security principles, and incidentresponse methodologies

+ Expertise in Agile and can work with at least oneof the common frameworks

+ Demonstrated ability to develop and growproductive, trusting, and open relationships with a wide variety ofconstituencies.

+ Demonstrated leadership and team work skills

+ Demonstrated ability to communicate complexity ina clear manner

+ Demonstrated experience interfacing with customersand other external stakeholders regarding cyber security system design andbehavior

+ Demonstrated strong analytical, problem solvingskills

+ Experience in Healthcare industry or other heavilyregulated industry.

+ Understanding of national and international laws,regulations, and policies related to regulated medical device cybersecurity

+ Wireless communication systems knowledge andexperience.

+ Experience with container technologies such asDocker, Kubernetes, Mesos, or Open Container Initiative
